kwin (4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1)) on KDE Platform 4.5.1 (KDE 4.5.1) using Qt 4.7.0
- What I was doing when the application crashed: I was running Bleachbit in Sudomode.
- Unusual behavior I noticed: When you run Sudo mode of bleachbit with a Sudo startx -- :1 (kde sudo) you get awful bugs.

*** Bug 264677 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Does BleachBit touch /var/tmp? Because if it does, it shouldn't. I can add yet more sanity checks to try and detect other processes tromping around in the icon cache, but if the cache file needs to be removed the safe way to do it is to only use rm or unlink(), do *not* "shred" the contents of the file first. With Kubuntu 11.04 Beta this is not a problem for me any more *** Bug 271893 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 271894 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 272284 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 261959 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** In accordance to bug 271889, I am closing this one, too. If BleachBit is setup to *not* write random data to files in /var/tmp, please reopen. *** Bug 274884 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 284041 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 303307 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 303308 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 303310 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 303312 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Why send me this?! What's being DONE about it?! Marking it as a duplicate only tells me others are having the same trouble; is it FIXED yet? Where's the repaired version? Upgrade bleachbit to a version that does not overwrite vital KDE files while KDE runs.
And which one is that?
