Hi - I can't reproduce on my device - the pop-ups for both the color and border/fill selection appear as expected. Just to check, can you reproduce the issue using a new user profile on your device, with no customizations?

Yeah, I created a new user, logged in, took a screenshot, opened the image in gwenview and tried to annotate it and the same thing happened. This is a fairly fresh install of arch. I don't have tooo many things installed aside from the base plasma setup that gets installed so I'm not sure where the issue lies. Happy to keep trying things though!
Can reproduce with Gwenview 25.04.0. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Graphics Platform: Wayland
I couldn't reproduce this issue before, but I can after the Qt 6.9 update.
I am also experiencing this exact issue. Video in attachment 180157 [details] is exactly my experience. Gwenview Version 25.04.0 Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.14.4-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

Bumping priority here, as there does not appear to be a workaround at this time.

All color, shadow, emoticon, border & fill, and effects buttons doesn't work inside Gwenview. Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.14.8-2-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland
Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.14.7-1-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 5600G Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Graphics Just adding to the list. Plasmoid color picker is working but colours can't be applied to tools in Gwenview.
This seems to be fixed for me on Qt 6.9.1 on Arch Linux. Is it the same with anyone else?
It's fixed on my system too. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.91 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Graphics Platform: Wayland
Also reporting as resolved, annotation tools seem to be working properly! Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.14.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.14.9-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland

Was this partly a duplicate of bug 482262? https://github.com/ksnip/kImageAnnotator/issues/341 closed upstream.
