The color selector

Apologies, but to clarify, what might cause Gwenvew to not allow to select the color for drawing during an active annotation process?

I've clarified at lovely Libera IRC channel #kde, and someone responded that they don't have the same issue on their end, though they specified a different version, 25.04.3, at the moment of 2025-09-03. They also stated that their graphics API was Wayland.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open any image;
2. Activate annotation mode;
3. Try changing color for drawing by clicking on the color selector.

OBSERVED RESULT

The color selector does not appear.

EXPECTED RESULT

The color selector appears.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

There was a suggestion on the IRC channel to try recreating the same case withing a session of a new User, and the same exact issue was observed.
