Right Clicking on Taskbar, selected Panel Options: Add Widgets.
System Crashes.

Left Clicking on the Dolphin icon in the Taskbar.
System Crashes.

It may be related to bug 306037 (and thusly 270442) but I'm not completely sure.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

You session dbus is not running or not working correctly.  Try to relogin or reboot.

Also, do I reply to your post here? or in the other bug post?

Odd.

I'm pretty new to Linux. I installed Mint with KDE only a few days ago. Ever since the install, it's been crashing right and left with the above bug as the primary cause. Restarting did nothing.

Then just now I installed a Nvidia driver for my graphics card, and restarted one more time for "Why not" sake. And now it seems to be fixed. The dolphin file manager icon or "add widget" doesn't crash the computer, and the early start up screen, which had been an ugly mess of noisy pixels is now clear.

I really don't think installing nvidia driver will influence whether your session dbus is working correctly,  but it is good to know it is working fine for you now.
