- Have you tried to repeat the situation to check if Plasma crash again ?
This is probably related to bug 219645. Regards
Comment 2 Jeroen 2010-02-10 20:49:01 UTC
I repeated the situation and it doesn't crash again. The only effect is that all the widgets are replaced from their original location to the upper right corner of the desktop. But that's normal isn't it?
Comment 3 Dario Andres 2010-02-10 20:50:21 UTC
I think that secondary bug is reported somewhere else. (I can't recall it correctly)
Comment 4 Dario Andres 2010-03-21 00:39:05 UTC
From bug 231370:
-- Information about the crash:
Plasma crashed after I deleted the current remaining activity. I did this as I
somehow lost my panel, so I prefered trying to get a clean activity..

From bug 219645:
-- Information about the crash:
it crashes while adding a new desktop activity of type 'folder display'

Comment 7 Dario Andres 2010-03-21 00:40:28 UTC
From bug 231181:
-- Information about the crash:
After setting up a new panel on the primary screen, I attempted to remove the
existing panel on the secondary screen (which was once the primary screen in an
nvidia twinview environment). After selecting "remove this panel" the crash
occurred.

From bug 230540:
-- Information about the crash:
KDE 4.4 Crash when I tried to change the Type from "Search and Lanuch
containment" to "Desktop" in

Comment 11 Dario Andres 2010-03-21 00:42:55 UTC
From bug 228835:
Before Crash:
* Removed all files from a demo user (/home/demo) to start fresh.
* Created 4 desktops, configured each desktop to be an activity.
First Problem:
* Added Pager to Task Bar
* Desktop Background Image was replaced with a fixed color and background was
shifted slightly up and to the left.
Main Problem:
* Zoomed Out. Saw 5 desktops / Activities.
* Started trying to delete Desktops in an effort to get 4.
* Each deleted desktop was replaced with a new desktop - the total remained at
5.
* Finally managed to get a delete (X) button for the 5th desktop - clicked it
* Plasma Crashed.
Comment 12 Dario Andres 2010-03-21 00:43:28 UTC
From bug 223963:
-- Information about the crash:
I opened the toolbox Zoom out modes.
I want 4 activities and I saw 5. I tried to remove one, but I didn't see the
remove button, so I choose the first one and I remove that activity and plasma
crashed afterwards.
