Same problem for me, reinstalled yesterday so assumed something got broke until i saw this bug. Bug is not about in kmenuedit. Problem is in frameworkintegration package.I fixed this problem with install new package frameworkintegration_5.9.0+git20150418.1058+15.04-0ubuntu0_amd64.deb It works with kmenuedit v5.2.2 and also git kmenuedit v5.3.90 There are several duplicates: - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346716 - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346571 - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346723 - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346849 *** Bug 346330 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 346571 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 346716 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 346723 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 346849 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 347060 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Fixed by David Rosca for 5.10, see http://commits.kde.org/frameworkintegration/26406a9aa01d6f4f01a3f084b51451de8385c8fc *** Bug 347175 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 347366 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 347378 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 347434 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 347608 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 347792 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** As a workaround, find the .desktop file (I found it in ~/.local/share/applications/SomeApplication.desktop , I think there are other locations), edit it in a text editor, and add or edit an Icon=/full/path/to/icon.ext line. I found Icon=~/some/path/mozicon128.png didn't work, you have to have a full path. Then you may have to get KDE to re-parse the files. Making a minor change to Edit Applications or System Settings > Applications seems to do it. *** Bug 348263 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 349211 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to skierpage from comment #17) > As a workaround, find the .desktop file (I found it in > ~/.local/share/applications/SomeApplication.desktop , Simply find the .desktop file, right click, Properties... and in the dialog you can now set the icon by clicking on it and properly choosing from any image file you want. Here, the file chooser works. *** Bug 350118 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 350463 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 350851 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 351663 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 351898 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
