I usually use the Application Launcher (Meta key) by typing the (first few letter of the) name of the applications to start. It is very convenient, especially since the search results include the content of both the Application and Computer tabs. It would be great if the contents of the Leave tab (Log Out, Restart, etc.) appeared as well. At the time, they do not. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the Application Launcher (Meta key) 2. Type e.g. "Switch" OBSERVED RESULT "Switch User" should show up. EXPECTED RESULT It does not. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 5.19 (should be 5.20, I remember upgrading, but that's what's written in the about page) KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0 Qt Version: 5.14.2 Kernel Version: 5.4.0-42-generic OS Type: 64-bit
Most of them show up, but "Switch User" does not. This is an issue with the new Kickoff too.

Yes, the item appears in searches now with the new kickoff. :)
Great! Looking forward to trying it out. Now all that's missing for Switch User to actually work. :)
It does work now in Plasma 5.20, but I do see one issue in the new Kickoff related to this item. For that, I've filed Bug 431315.
