The notification messenger pops-up with message "security-upadate" the muon updater tell me "no updates" the muon package manager does find 8 updates ... this happening since I did the first update after installing the 13.10 version Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install kubuntu 13.10 2.do the first update 3. after that only able to update using package manager Actual Results: update manager each time does not view the updates Expected Results: update manager should have list the possible updates I did 2 installation Both starting from 13.10 beta 2 , 1 installation on a real hardware another on a virtual machine .. both had the same problem

I just installed Kubunu 13.10 again from scratch using the final release (downloaded today) checked the followin flags : - update during install - tird party sofware plain vanilla installation after install started the Update manager .. "checked 8 min ago and no updates" I ram muon package manager .. 21 updates .. see my screenshot in attach

in the last week I got 2 occasions were I did got a partially "correct" UI feedback from the muon update manager. the other update notifications were wrong. the particularity correct feedback was today when receiving the update of the kernel 3.11.0.13.14 I only saw the feedback regarding the kernels , the muon package manager saw 25 updates it seems to me that depending from what ppa info de updater receives .. it has a problem

All, for past 2 weeks, at least at my PC, the issue seems to be resolved. since the past updates muon update manager works correctly .. I checked against the feedback from the muon package manager. I'll keep monitoring it's behaviour. kind regards Wim Mintiens
Hi, everybody Same for me since last update, Muon working properly. So I've got an other problem with my front usb, If I connect something, the start-up is black out. I just have alt+F2 command. After sudo reboot, it's all right. This is happening with the version 5.7.5 on Kubuntu 16.10. Always when new updates are available, discover shows "no updates" screen instead of listing the updates.
