After upgrading from Kubuntu 13.04 to Kubuntu 13.10 Muon no long appears to respond to the "check for updates" command in the "More.." menu Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open Muon Update Manager 2.Select "Check for Updates" from "More.." menu 3. Actual Results: When I open updater it checks fo the last update and displays the time since the last successful update (at this stage via apt-get). If I then select "Check for Updates" from the "More.." men the display does not show any checks of sources and appears to do nothing. After a minute or two a notification displays that updates are available but the updater display still continues to show the last date since a check was performed (not the time since the check just preformed). Notification bar displays the cog icon which advises updates are available. If update is selected from the right click menu associated with this update, nothing happens. Expected Results: Muon Update manager should check all sources and then display available updates if any are available. When I update via "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade" from the command line everything updates as expected. I experienced no problems with Muon Update Manager until I upgraded from Kubuntu 13.04 to Kubuntu 13.10. I have attempted purge and reinstallation of muon, muon update and muon-notifier several times to no effect.
