Did someone turn a totally functional application into a broken plasmoid? The menu is missing. Please quit taking away our menus! The notification settings is for "icon only," but I still get the annoying desktop notice. I still receive notifications that an update is available, but the updater won't show updates or check for updates. I know that there are updates because apt-get downloads and installs updates. If you cannot make this work like it did before, please use the old code that worked and replace this broken plasmoid with the fully functional application. Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. An update is available 2. Click on the update notification icon 3. Check for updates Actual Results: A window pops up and says, "The last check for updates was over a week ago. Please click Check for Updates to check." A pop-up warning titled "Failed to Apply Changes -- Muon Update Manager" says, "file:/var/cache/apt-build/repository/dists/apt-build/main/binary-i386/Packages "File not found." Expected Results: A nice window should have popped up with a list of available updates. No pop-up notification should have occured. There should have been a nice menu at the top with a toolbar with an icon I could click to apply updates. I'm using a 64-bit version of Kubuntu. I do have some 32-bit libraries and programs installed as well.
If you check downstream, especially on Launchpad for Ubuntu, you will see that there are multiple reports that Muon Updater is not showing updates and is totally disfunctional.
I have same for 32-bit Kubuntu
