Forward-search from Emacs (using AUCTeX) has worked for a long time. Suddenly, today, it crashes Okular.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Reading what the output says that it seems that you do not have dbus running in your machine. Is that true?

I think dbus may have been shut down or crashed. I tried restarting
everything (Emacs daemon and conkeror) and now I'm not encountering this bug
any longer.

Closing then, dbus is a prerequisite for kde apps to work.

Ok, the problem seems to be resolved.

Just to be clear, though, Okular itself was working, but when I tried to do
forward search from Emacs to Okular I was getting this bug. (Again,
restarting everything seems to have made it go away).
