I managed to "fix" it by increasing the font size. Umm.

Thanks. It looks like the layout isn't respecting the margins of the container it lives in. A possibly relevant merge request was started @ https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kdeplasma-addons/-/merge_requests/287 Git commit e7df214403f6a019b9b29d239426a465eb964e24 by Ismael Asensio. Committed on 02/12/2022 at 18:00. Pushed by iasensio into branch 'master'. applets/weather: Fix icon position in system tray Remove the external ColumnLayout and instantiate the Loader directly.
