The tree view icons is realy too small! Recently I also installed KDE on my parent's computer and I get the same claim. The small size of the icons become someones to be ungly (at almost icon's themes). I confirm this. KDE is very much adjustable to the needs of visually impaired people - but there are some things left out which you cannot adjust to be big enough. Those are the tray icons in kicker (Bug 60468), the navigation bar icons (that F9 bar: Bug 117949), the kicker taskbar buttons (Bug 10233) and the icons in the tree view and file open/save dialogs. You can adjust the icons of the tree view when you change the "small icons" size in the theme file of your current icons theme from standard 22 to e.g. 32. That affects the icons in the tree view, the icons in the context menus and the icons on buttons. But it would be much more convenient and intuitive if it would be adjustable via the method described in this bug report. I agree with this request. I have been working on the new sidebar code and thought the same thing while working on this. If I have a chance I will try to implement this too. Assigning to myself |
