Version: 1.1 (using KDE 3.1.0) Installed from: (testing/unstable) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 20030131 (Debian prerelease) OS: Linux (i586) release 2.4.20-586tsc When importing bookmarks you can't use a remote kio thing like fish or smb. I can't see any reason why importing remotely should be a problem.
This wish could be mark as a bug, as it is from the user point of view: the Open (or save) file dialog let you browse your remote folders and choose a file but thene you got the horrible message "you can open only local file" (translated from french). Without the ability of opening and saving remote file, you can't share a bookmark.
