Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-ac9 In the bookmark editor, there is no selection to import konqueror bookmarks (like from an account on a different computer) I thought that I could just "Save" from the one account and then "Open" that file in the other account, but it does not quite work. I am able to open the old bookmarks file, and they are all there and look right, but when I close the edit bookmarks window, they are not saved as my bookmarks, and clicking the "Save" button tries to save them back to the old file instead of making them my bookmarks. Simplest would probably just be an "Import" konqueror bookmarks choice.
I agree, there is no easy way to export Konqueror bookmarks from 1 user account to another on the same maching or a different machine.
3.5a1 bookmark editor has import kde2/kde3 bookmarks option. Doesn't seem to have support for remote kio slaves.
It can import them, but retrieving it from some remote place is already suggested in bug 55979. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 55979 ***
