SUMMARY When using multiple screens with multiple panels and multiple systrays, essentially duplicated taskbars on each screen, system notifications pop up on the first display only, which is not ideal as that is a 15" laptop sitting at the far end of my table where otherwise I use 2-3x 50" displays, so notifications are lost to the side out of my field of view for me. Bringing this up in another bug thinking related in 459082, Nate G. mentioned this is not so much a wayland positioning issue as it is notifications unaware of display context, and requested this as a separate issue. At most simple solution, if it followed the top priority display from display settings, that would usually be sufficient enough, but ideally I would prefer and option to separately choose a display, or ALL displays even under Notification settings separate. Related discussion: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459082 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect 3-4 displays, and set you preference order of displays normally 2. Add a plasma panel on the bottom to each screen 3. Add a systray dock widget for each 4. Configure notifications normally 5. Send a test notification to the desktop via whatever application OBSERVED RESULT Notifications from system will pop up on the built-in laptop display EXPECTED RESULT I would like to influence the pop to a different display, or all displays (and resize bigger would be nice too). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 Kernel Version: 6.16.4-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-11800H @ 2.30GHz Memory: 128 GiB of RAM (125.6 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This may be only under Wayland, or at least I've only noticed it as an annoyance using Wayland the past year or so since Nvidia drivers finally made it usable.
