Desktop and Notification

DESCRIPTION:

Sometimes Notification on primary monitor is in wrong place

Hypothesis: Notification placement possibly determined by my second monitors desktop resolution setting and size

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Boot PC up with various monitor combinations being on and off



OBSERVED RESULT:

Notification is is the wrong pace (See Picture Attachment)


EXPECTED RESULT:

Notification should appear on bottom right-hand corner on primary monitor via taskbar

Hello, exact same thing has been happening to me as well. I have 2 monitors (left/right) my primary is left but on my Wayland sessions notification always display on my second monitor just like the attachment in this post.

Left  (Primary) Monitor: Samsung 1920x1080@75 HDMI Connection

I can reproduce this by simply plugging in my external monitor to my laptop after Plasma is started.

This can be fixed by simply opening "Display Configuration" from my system tray and then switching to or between different modes ("Extend to left" or "Extend to right"). Or it can also be fixed by re-arranging any screen in System Settings.
