STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. right-click on desktop
2. under "Icons" submenu, set "Arrange in" to "Columns" and "Align" to "Right"
3. tap any icon on desktop with a touchscreen

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
touch input works

Confirmed. Works fine with left column alignment, or either left or right row alignment, but not with right column alignment. Feels like it could be related to Bug 359783.

Still an issue on neon unstable.

Can still reproduce the original issue with Folder View in 5.27 using the newer scroll view component.

It's still reproducible on Plasma 6 alpha, but not consistently.

Can reproduce often with these steps:

1. position the desktop icons on the right side, arranged from top to bottom
2. open some windows
3. minimize all windows using the buttons in the windows decorations, or the "Minimize all windows" widget placed on Plasma panel
or by pressing meta+d shortcut
4. tap any icon on desktop with the touchscreen

Result: nothing happens
