Description marco.rubin 2020-01-07 21:07:21 UTC
Application: kinfocenter (5.17.4)

Qt Version: 5.14.0
Frameworks Version: 5.65.0
Operating System: Linux 5.4.6-2-MANJARO x86_64
Distribution: Manjaro Linux

-- Information about the crash:
Hi, few days ago I switched to the latest version of Manjaro XFCE Edition, then tried the KDE Edition, but it didn't show desktop wallpaper and the application menu didn't work, so I returned to the XFCE Edition. Then I tried to install KDE manually: following this guide from the official wiki of Manjaro, it all worked good, except the fact that I still can't see the desktop wallpaper (but the icons are there, because I could open the browser clicking in the position i remembered it was in), the application menu doesn't work (I can't type in the search bar, but in Krunner i can) and the widget menu doesn't show the widgets. I tried "systemctl reboot" and i could see the wallpaper and the programs for a brief moment, then all black again. Also, when something like a pop-up shows up or a video starts playing, the screen goes all black for a second.
Also I tried to install kio-gdrive for Dolphin file manager, but I could not add any account because the "Add account" button wouldn't work. I tried entering KDE System Settings, I can't enter any of its menu and when I close it, it keeps crashing.

The only app I've tried which works fine so far is KDE Connect.

P.S: sorry for my bad English.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
