As from now (2013.10.x) KDE lacks is a unified sound theme management. Changing sound notifications is painfully tricky, takes a lot of time and requires the user to go through +40 different Event sources, each one of them having between two and +40 possible events to configure. Tricks commonly used even by "sound theme" installers imply messing up with /usr/share/sounds directories and replace the actual files to be played on a system-wide basis. What's lacking is a theme manager and tools to easily configure and import/export settings, similarly to what happens for appearance themes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open System Settings 2. go to Application and System Notifications 3. select an application in the Event source menu 4. cry noisily making loud, convulsive gasps 5. goto 3. Actual Results: - pale skin - weight/hair loss - flashbacks of childhood mistakes of current and previous lives - alcohol consumption increase Expected Results: - two-clicks sound theme selection - sounds of unicorns riding in the sunset with space ship engines humming in the background
