Use KIO::synchronousRun to fulfill synchrounous XmlHttpRequest instead. Unofrtunately this means that the fix for the crash reported in bug# 287778 is reverted until we can find a solution for the side effects of using nested event loops. @Rolf unfortunately the example site provided was changed and I can no longer reproduce the crash. Do you still want this bug to be kept open ?
I don't think it is of much value currently. I think the bug is still there, but we know we can't reproduce it for the moment.
