still exists in 4.6.0 using Kubuntu PPA packages. This bug didn't exist in 4.5.5

if you resize the notification pop up it losses its geometry settings at next action.

i have to add to this that (at least on my two opensuse systems) the notifications are also way too small, making it absolutely necessary to resize them every time you actually want to see the content of a popup.

I can confirm this for 4.8.80. Notifications can't be resized properly. the following behavior is reproducible:

- Resizing isn't smooth at all, content jumps
- Resizing horizontally doesn't work, as soon as I release the mouse button, it reverts to its old size
- Resizing vertically works, but obviously only for file operation messages, for messages sent via notify-send, the same behavior as above applies
- Vertically resized notifications get their original size back as soon as other notifications arrive

If it is intended behavior that resized notifications return to their old size, notifications better shouldn't be user-resizable at all.
If it isn't intended, though, the new size should be remembered permanently by all existing and all new notifications. In this case also notifications which aren't currently resizable (such as Kopete error messages) should be resizable in the same way.

Furthermore resizing should be smooth.

This bug is on openSUSE too. KDE 4.7, 4.8, 4.9.2.

I'm using one computer with large font and I'd like to resize notifications. But there are still the same problem. When you take left-top corner and drag it to any direction, the size returns back. The container of notifications resizes, but after you stop dragging and release mouse button, it tries to resize its content, but unsuccessfully and size returns to original size.
