Version: 4.5.0 (using KDE 4.5.0) OS: Linux When I try to use the mouse to drag a tab between 2 others it changes either the right or left one to that tab . Its not putting it between them . it only work to the far right open spot. I think it just needs a bit of a gap between the tabs . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: same as above Actual Results: one of the tabs gets changd tot eh one you drag over. Expected Results: go between the tabs.
Thanks for the report. Are you using the middle mouse button or the left one when you try to move tabs? Note that dragging with the left button is *not* supposed to move the tab (it has been requested to change that though - see bug 195466).
The old way the left . but I'll see what happens with the middle . It never clicked in my head to even try that :). Strange I know in kde3 it was always with the left, konsole still works. Version: 4.5.0 (using KDE 4.5.0) this is wrong because the bug page doesn't have 4.5.1 yet lol. But its been like that for a while(kde versions with the tabs).
yeah middle seems to work have to let go quick or it moves more. left is still nicer . quicker to remember :)
Thanks for the feedback. I can understand that you find left mouse button tab moving more intuitive - I also think it might be better this way. This has been requested in bug 195466 already, so I'll mark your report as a duplicate of that one. Thanks again for reporting. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 195466 ***
