Version: 4.5.1 (using KDE 4.5.0) OS: Linux been a few versions of kde/konq and when you drag drop to move the tab it will change one of the tabs either to the right or left to that tab content. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: grab the tab and try to move it between 2 others and it will change one of them to the content of the tab you are moving . I see now with 4.5.1 that I can't even drag drop to the far right empty space now. yes 4.5.1 the bug page only goes up to 4.5.0 :). If I hold on the empty spot for a second and release the button it will open an empty tab O.o Expected Results: to be able to move a tab and have it not change another tab to its content. But move it between them like it did many moons ago :)
How is this different from your earlier report bug 249225? Please note that the left mouse button does *not* move tabs in Konqueror. It drags the tab's URL, and if you drop it on a tab in the tab bar (there is no real space "between" tabs there), that tab gets the first tab's URL. BTW, I think tab moving/dragging has always worked this way in Konqueror - I just tried KDE 3.5.9 in a VM, and it seems to work exactly like that. If yes: I cannot reproduce this in a checkout of the 4.5 branch from today.
