Can you try to compile the current svn trunk libkexiv? Should probably be fixed there.
Comment 2 simon 2010-05-13 20:55:44 UTC
recompiled both, still the same.
as its poperly aligned in the cam importer i think its a albumview problem?
Comment 3 Johannes Wienke 2010-05-13 21:04:40 UTC
Is the rotation ok if you open an image in the editor?
Comment 4 caulier.gilles 2010-05-13 21:04:57 UTC
To be sure, check if digiKam use last version of libkexiv2

Go to Help/Components Info dialog

Comment 6 Johannes Wienke 2010-05-13 22:07:33 UTC
That are exactly the symptoms fixed two days ago. Strange.
Comment 7 simon 2010-05-13 22:40:29 UTC
i'll try to rebuild my collection thumbs ... will take its time though
Comment 8 simon 2010-05-13 22:44:57 UTC
hi,

solved!
i had my whole thumbs rebuild like 3 days ago and probably used the buggy version to do so. After the libkexiv2 update the rebuilding thumbs process fixed this as it seems, so i think this can be closed. thanks for your time and perhabs the wish in Bug 237552 makes sense to you :)
