Version: 1.3.0 (using 4.4.74 (KDE 4.4.74 (KDE 4.5 >= 20100428)), Gentoo) Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-zen7 hi, one usability thing: i had some images corrupted from a bad memorystick import, which hat grey areas all over the images. when i reimported the porper files, the thumbnails wern't rebuilded, so the only solution was to rebbuild all the thumbs in my collection which was very time consuming. it would be great if i was posssible to rebuild only the selected images.
Normally, you can update current album thumbnails using F5 key. Gilles Caulier
Gilles, F5 does a collection scan but does not invalidate thumbnails if the file did not change. It's a valid wish.

This would be very useful. I also often have pictures changed by an external process (not updating the timestamp - if that makes a difference) - for example I use another application to rotate pics from camera before I put it in the digiKam's folder. If I forget that and do it later, digiKam will display the outdated pics forever until I do a full rebuild of the whole DB. It would be nice to be able to at least rebuild all thumbs in one folder (or even better for all selected items).
There is an option in Album menu named "Rebuild thumbnails in current album". It's not enough ? Gilles Caulier
good for me, thanks
