Description Bartek Pietrasiak 2010-05-07 20:11:52 UTC
Version: 1.3.0 (rev.: 1123276) (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), 4.4.1-6.fc11 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30.10-105.2.23.fc11.i686.PAE

After update my canon pictures (cr2 from 400D and jpg from some IXUS) are not rotated anymore (from some other cameras is ok). The thumbnails for pictures imported before update are rotated but in the preview the picture is not rotated. For newly imported, both the thumb and preview are not rotated.

My exiv2 version is 0.18.2

Me too, for Canon EOS 7D pictures. I will gladly provide samples if needed.
Comment 2 Johannes Wienke 2010-05-09 11:10:55 UTC
Can confirm this for ORF and JPEG files.
Comment 3 Marcel Wiesweg 2010-05-15 22:35:28 UTC
I assume this is the Sony makernotes in libkexiv2 problem discussed on the mailing list and fixed recently by Gilles in SVN?

Unless there is contradicting feedback, I assume this was a duplicate of the mentioned report.
