Description Georg Wuketich 2001-01-17 12:18:55 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 2.0.1
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE 6.4 RPM

It would be nice to be able to _open_ the attachments in the composer window like it is possible in the viewer.

The composer offers only "View" it would be nice to have "Open" and "Open with ..." depending on the (mime) type and/or suffix ...

Georg

1. http://www.burton.com/ and then
2. http://derstandard.at/

The location bar reads http://derstandard.at/ browser shows=20
http://www.burton.com/ ...

The bug appears _only_ when an http proxy is activated and visiting=20
pages with JavaScript. Turning off JavaScript also _doesn't_ help!?

IMHO this is a badly missing feature.
example "check if the pdf file is the correct one"

"View" is useless for all non ascii ... attachments.

Replaced e9426222@student.tuwien.ac.at with null@kde.org due to bounces by reporter

I am really interested in this. May I ask if it is already included in the new KDE 3.4's kdepim version? I haven't seen it withing the enhancements of the new version.

Thanks.
