Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Shouldn't launch feedback been disabled for non-kde apps ? or at least provide an option to exclude specific apps ? When i use xmms for example each time i click on an MP3 file i see the bumping cursor and the taskbar icon until they time out, xmms does not reinstantiate itself each time it's called so this shouldn't happen. Also i can't understand how this feature provides acurate info for non-kde apps, for example if an app starts o.k. how does it know when to stop if app doesn't send any real feedback to it ? Firefox for example, each time it starts i see the bumping cursor etc even when firefox has oppened the homepage.
Lubos, could we make the default depending on the xdg Categories?

Not sure this makes sense. We've had launch feedback for all apps (KDE and non-KDE alike for quite some time now, and I think it would be really weird if you didn't see feedback for some apps. In fact whenever this breaks for some app for whatever reason, we get bug reports about it.
