Especially when playing games, the bouncing game icon appears when the program is started, and does not always disappear (depending on the program).  This causes a major slowdown, and the icon often does not disappear at all, until the application is closed.  I therefore think that it would be a good idea to set 'StartupNotify' to false by default, so that this issue is avoided.

What games? Of KDE? Then they have to be fixed.

No, the there are no problems with KDE programs, but other games, like 'Doom 3', 'Enemy Territory' and 'Quake III'.

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
