Version: 3.5.0 (using KDE 3.5.0, Debian Package 4:3.5.0-3 (testing/unstable)) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12 This rule can be useful. But much more even, if it supports different types of units of measurement in addition from pixels, like centimeters for example. Thus, like is good that it can change to the North, South, Est and West direction; would be far better even that it could be chosen for each one of those directions in where to put the beginning (the zero: in the left, right, down or above). Nothing else. ¡ Saludos! -- Ale Hamann
The part about the alternative units is a duplicate of bug #36100 Best regards, Torquil M. Sørensen

Kpresenter does have normal (metric) units now, but every time I change the unit, for example of a template (and save it), the damn inch is back the next time I check. I will use something else until kpresenter and the rest are fixed. Besides, wouldn't it make sense to change the default to something that is more useful to 95% of the world, namely a metric unit?!
