Description Claus Holm 2007-01-07 21:51:37 UTC
Version: 3.5.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-rc7.1mdv

The kruler always measures in inches. Regardless all my efforts to tell KDE that I am Danish, I live in Denmark, I use Kroners and I measure in Meters and Centigrades etc.
I don't know whether kruler *can* measure in anything but inches... I have not been able to make it otherwise, but it would be very nice, if it could measure in the metric system, too.

Same with kpresenter. Although I live in the US, I want metric units. But every time I change the unit, for example of a template (and save it), the damn inch is back the next time I check. I will use something else until kpresenter and the rest are fixed.

Besides, wouldn't it make sense to change the default to something that is more useful to 95% of the world, namely a metric unit?!
