Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.2) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux A switch to synchronize scrolling for multiple files open when in split view would be helpful when comparing different versions of a file. I think the switch would fit best under the View menu. Also I just noticed the fullscreen mode switch is under the Settings menu. I think a more appropriate place would be View.
Synchronized scrolling was once on the todo-list. However, to be honest, it's not a feature that is of interest to a huge audience. In fact, you seem to be the only one in 8 years requesting this features. Therefore, we'll close this report as wont-fix for now. Please understand, that our developer resources are rather limited. If you provide a patch, we happily accept any contribution! PS: please only report one wish/bug per report.
well, there were two other users voting on this feature request ;) (but i can understand the limited developer time)
I would also find synchronized scrolling to be a huge benefit. So now there are 4 of us!
