Confirmed for 4.7.4 with bug 268437 and bug 251434 as similar bugs. ..But in 4.8.3, all seems to work for me. Do you still experience this bug? I still encounter this bug using KDE 4.8.5 on openSUSE 12.2. If I use the right click menu to lock or even a widget added on top of the search and launch, nothing happens. Though I can use the same widget and menu to access the log out prompt. However, It seems if I activate krunner though run command all of a sudden the lock screen works. I have a video here demonstrating it: http://youtu.be/N94dPY3csTo Can confirm that the behaviour is present under openSuSE 12.2 and KDE 4.8.5, and also that the behaviour changes when I enable krunner in Systemsettings another issue about keyboard-friendliness: bug 315136 |
