Description Thomas Zander 2004-03-09 13:56:43 UTC
Version: 3.2.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.1dell-optiplex

I'm running 3.2 BRANCH and since the 3.2 release and my update last weekend the behavior of dragging a link has changed.

I used to be able to drag a link (a href in a html page) to another konqueror or to my desktop.
Dragging now just selects it and does not do anything.

Please make the drag-n-drop functionality come back.

Actualy problem is bigger than it looks - it's a problem to select some text in link. In 3.2.0 when selecting some part of text in link, it started to drag it (it sucks), now in 3.2.1 I cannot select parts of link text and cannot drag it!
IMHO text selecting in link is more important then link draging. Is possible to enable both? If no, there should be an configuration option.

Hi,

This was broken by me to fix a crash and fixed recently by dfaure. Unfortunately it missed the 3.2.1 release by a hair, but will be in 3.2.2. Thanks for the report.
