Description Volker Götz 2004-03-11 15:49:46 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r2, propolice)

OS: Linux

After installing kdelibs 3.2.1 I'm unable to drag & drop URLs between khtml enabled (I guess, not sure) windows. To be more clear:

Drag & Drop does NOT work:
URL from konqueror to konqueror (both windows in HTML mode)
URL or attachement file from kmail to konqueror
URL from konqueror to konsole (konq. in html mode)

Drag & Drop DOES work:
File from konqueror to konqueror (file browser mode)
Image from konqueror to konqueror (html mode)
Image (i.e. icon for an attachement) from kmail to konqueror

All errors are reproducible. I've tried it with my regular user account as well as with a "fresh" test user with unchanged kde settings.

It seems as if it is impossible to drag any kind of URL from an khtml component to any kind of destination.
