Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE 3.2.0, compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-2mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.1 Currently in HEAD (for the past few days), animated gifs on webpages no longer loop their animations, they are just played through once and then pause. http://techniq.homelinux.com:8000/share/tux_soaring_md_blk.gif Here is a gif to look at. You might need to hit F5 after the page loaded to see it animate once.
This happens to me - on KDE 3.2 RC1.
yes. and it's not the GIF reader, as the qt movies example shows it fine
I was just about to submit this bug before I ran across this one... Same issue with me. Kde 3.2rc1, gcc 3.2.3, kernel 2.6.1 Konqueror sure has seen many gif animation problems...
same..

Is this supposed to be fixed in the final release of KDE 3.2.0? Animated GIFs still don't work for me, but I'm not sure if it is only fixed for future releases.
it's fixed in 3.2.1
