Basically, this is the same bug as http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72953 that has been 'closed/resolved'.

Well its not.  I first had this bug in kde 3.2.0-rc1 (beta 1 and 2 were fine).  I upgraded to 3.2.0 last night on two of my machines (one had the rc1 and the other had 3.1.4) and both now cannot loop gifs no matter the selection in the options.

when a bug is declared fixed, it doesn't mean there aren't versions out there that have the bug still - including KDE 3.2.0

If that is the case, then why didn't kde 3.2.0 final include this bug fix since it was 'fixed' back in RC1?
