Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.90) OS: Linux It should be possible assigning windows to Activities in taskbar similar to the way you can in the window menu. So you don‘t need to restore the window to move it to another activity. Reproducible: Always
Martin recently "synchronized" the taskmanager context menu and window menu. Did he add the Activities menu as well?

This feature would be very handy. The following is technically not related, but the button action and the tooltips could be implemented at the same time: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307163.

Moving windows could also be achieved by using the activity sidebar as a pager. In that case you could move the window/s with the mouse to another activiy: Bug 347665
Any news on this. This feature would be very handy. Especially as when you restore a session, a lot on windows reload on the activity you boot on and so it'd be very good to move them back where they belong with a right click on a task manager :) Sorry for not having enough programming skills and very little time at the moment...
Git commit 4ee63deda86bf8808b443bf4dd61c06d3221bab7 by David Edmundson. Committed on 21/06/2016 at 11:33. Pushed by davidedmundson into branch 'master'. Add an Activities list into the context menu Summary: This makes the task manager's context menu match KWin's titlebar context menu. Hello, Very glad to see that feature has been added, however it is not as reliable at as it is from the window menu. When trying move move windows to a different activity from task manager, it only works sometimes, whereas it always works from the window menu. Most of the time if I use the activity manager to switch a window to a different activity (say I'm on activity 1 and I want to switch one window to activity 2), nothing happens and when I go back again to the activity menu from task manager nothing has changed (activity 2 is not ticked). Sometimes it does work though but I couldn't establish a pattern of when it does/doesn't work to provide more details. This bug was present in Plasma 5.8.x and still present in 5.9.0. Sorry I should have reported it before. Best Gauthier
David?
Gauthier, if this is still an issue with Plasma 5.9, please file a new ticket.
Ok will do.
