Description Gauthier 2015-08-18 19:55:37 UTC
Would it be possible when right clicking on a window or group of windows on the task manager to have the "Activity" menu and to therefore be able to move a group of windows to another activity?

Currently it is only possible to move single windows to another activity using the "Activity" menu when right clicking on the each window bar.

Reproducible: Always

At the moment this is not possible because the Activity menu is internal to KWin (the Window Manager) and nobody except it has access to it. This might change in the future.

Thank you for the answer! Might be something to think about at some point to enhance the use of activities.

I think it makes sense, I saw a discussion on Reddit about "how do I move steam (which doesn't have kwin deco) to a different activity.

Code in kwin looks simple enough. I'll give it a go.
