Version: (using KDE 4.1.0) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux I set my system to double-click mode. Yet, when I use the "open file" dialog for example in kate or in Gwenview the new file is loaded as soon as I click on the file. What I expected: The file should be marked, but not loaded until I press return, click the Ok button or double-click the file. What actually happened: The file was loaded immediately. This is even more annoying in programs like kate where you often want to load sets of files. How to reproduce: 1. Set your system to double-click. 2. Launch a program with a "file open" dialog. 3. Pick a file in this dialog with the mouse.

Still valid in KDE 4.1.1 (Kubuntu).
Still valid in KDE 4.1.2, this time tested with Fedora.
Hej, works in trunk version of today.
Does the 'trunk' in Comment #10 represent 4.2? The bug exists with KDE v4.1.3 on Fedora 10.
