Why it *is* a duplicate of 70521 is that if Konqui had separate, and different, configuration organization and options for each of its profiles, this problem could be solved by being able to have Konqueror set itself as the default browser when the Web Browser view profile is loaded, and Mozilla as the default browser when the File Manager view profile is loaded. this is a very anoying bug, but does not only affect konqueror - anything which uses khtml do display web content in a new tab: akregator, konqueror, klamav and probably more that i cant think of. it makes using any khtml using app a pain in the arse when using opera as a webbrowser (opera -newpage is my default browser). This is quite possibly the _only_ bug that has bothered me in konqueror since i started using it and still does. This bug still exists in KDE 3.5.0. |
