Description Luke-Jr 2005-02-05 04:47:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

The Notes plugin should be the same as Notes in KAbc
Comment 1 Matt Rogers 2005-02-05 05:20:33 UTC
actually, we should probably just remove the notes plugin in favor of using KABC.
Comment 2 Luke-Jr 2005-02-05 05:22:35 UTC
Well, a context menu option would still be nice
Comment 3 Olivier Goffart 2005-02-05 10:20:40 UTC
The note plugin is one of the first plugin.
I wrote it when i added the possibility for plugins to write information on the contactlist. It was an example plugin.
It's not really maintained anymore.

Maybe the good idea it's to add a menu entry in contact context menu named "edit contact information". This menu entry opens the "edit contact" window of Kadressbook. It's possible with DCOP, it isn't ?

This is one of my favourite plugins for Kopete. It should sync with Notes from Kaddressbook!

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
