Description pierre 2004-11-10 19:38:22 UTC
Version: 0.9.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.111-default

Hi

Yet with KDE 3.3 there is one of the biggest feature of KDE in PIM applications : the share of contacts informations between Kopete and KAB.
I think that the number of shared informations should be increased. For instance the notes : nice feature (a but useless ? :p
But it's not shared between kopete and KAB, so it's more useless than what it could be.
I think that there is also a lack in the KMail GUI which should show something like what konqueror shows when leaving the mouse on a picture (you know, the yellow box with preview, type, access rights and so on), but with informations about the contact of course.
I also think that an integration with a KIO should be done. See http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=82562

Thanks...

If you are talking about the ContactNote plugin:
that plugin is the older in Kopete. It was a kind of example/test to see how to write plugins.

But now, with the KABC integration, everithing could go in KABC.

lately, i tried to extract the GPG key from there for the Crypto plugin. But that didn't work, because for some unknown reason, i have no direct access to it.
