Description Kim Adil 2005-01-28 07:37:44 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

konqueror works well to treat archive files as a directory. I would like to be able to save files into an archive using the "save as" dialog from any kde application, and drill down into the archive to choose where in the archive I would like to save my file. I would like to do this to choose which files I store in archives (read.. slow access) and which ones i want to be readily accessible). I would probably relocate all of /usr/share/doc in one.

I am only realizing now that this wish is only another way to ask for writing into tar:

However then it is a duplicate of bug #95496

Have a nice day!
