Description Maxilys 2004-12-20 03:58:49 UTC
Version: 3.3 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (pre 3.3.5 20040809)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-24-default

If the archives can be explored as if they were simple folders, why can we use the whole power of Konqueror to manage them?

I mean: Why can't we insert and delete objects in the archives directly in Konqueror's window ? It's already possible to add objects through the right click menu; it should be possible to do the same and more by drag&drop and cut&paste.

This wish is still not present with KDE Frameworks 5.48 & Dolphin 18.04.3 and even though I am not sure how easy this would be to implement this would surely be a cool feature. I'll move it to kio-extras for now.
