Description Oliver Klee 2004-12-10 12:38:36 UTC
Version: 2.3.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

German umlauts (ä, ö, ü, ß) are treated as word delimiters instead of as normal characters.

Step to reproduce:
1. Open Kate, create a new document.
2. Type the German word "Lösung".
3. Invoke the spellchecker (with the ngerman dictionary).

Actual Result:
The spellchecker complains about the unknown word "sung" (seeing Lö <word delimiter> sung).

Expected result:
The spellchecker should see the word "Lösung" and either find it in the dictionary or treat it as a new word.
