Description Mathieu Jobin 2004-11-18 19:50:03 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.3.1, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.9

I go to the email settings
create myself a IMAP account
get to the question, please select your trash folder.... euh... none of my folders are in there...

click ok out of the window, ok, ok and ok.
get my mail.
return to the same screen.
click, click, click,

select the right folder
click ok out of the window, ok, ok and ok.

this is painfull

create the account, click ok, download your mail..
return to your account preference (why twice...)

Still an issue in recent KDE?

I thing the submitter is saying that, when creating a new IMAP account, the "Wastebin folder" option in the initial "Add account" dialogue can't be used at that stage because the folder list has not been fetched from the IMAP server yet. If so, then it is indeed still an issue in KMail 1.9.6.
