Description Peter Vogt 2004-09-28 15:27:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux

Icons in the system tray and sometimes also in the taskbar disappear. When opening an application and minimizing to tray it is not shown in the taskbar and can thus not be restored while the process is still active.
This bug occurs for KDE 3.2.1 as well as 3.3.

Current workaround:
1) right click in taskbar -> Remove -> Applet -> All
2) right click in taskbar -> Add -> Applet -> Taskbar, System Tray, etc

Note: some added applets (clock, Lock/Logout Applet) do not show in the "Add Applet" - menu although they have already been selected
