Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux Sometimes KDE hangs on shutdown on my installation. I have to reset the PC and have to run fsck on boot-up. After that some settings in the Appearance of KDE are reset to default values: icon size, font size, for example -- once the internet favorites where gone. This is very "stoerend". I have SuSE 9.1 and KDE 3.3 downloaded from SuSE. I think hanging also occurred in the previous KDE version shipped with SuSE 9.1. Can you please help me locate the bug? Where are KDE messages logged especially the shutdown processing? This may be more a question to SuSE -- but may be it's easy for you to have an idea and please give me a hint. Thank you very much.
I also get this problem sometimes - it is quite rare, but extremely annoying. I would have opened my own bug, but as I cannot reproduce it, I have not. However, it is an issue: and not an isolated one! Danny
